Rookie of the Year: Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins?

Right after the 2014 NBA Draft at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, most considered it the best draft class since 2003. Coming into the 2014-2015 NBA Season, people would think that one of the 2 best players in the draft, Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins, would be at the top of the NBA Rookie Ladder. Some people say Parker and others say Wiggins. Well let's bring up statistics between the 1st and 2nd pick of the 2014 NBA Draft. At 6 foot 8 inches tall, coming out of Duke University, Jabari Parker is currently 1st in the NBA Rookie Ladder, even though he suffered a season-ending injury due to tearing his ACL vs the Phoenix Suns. Parker averaged 12.3 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.7 apg, and a whopping 49% field goal percentage. Before he entered the NBA, Parker was considered as the draft's most "NBA ready" player and he had comparisons to great NBA players like Paul Pierce and Carmelo Anthony. On the other side, Wiggins is just as tall as Parker. Wiggins, coming from the University of Kansas, was the 1st overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft to the Cleveland Cavaliers. After being selected by the Cavaliers, Wiggins was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves along with Anthony Bennett for Superstar Forward Kevin Love. Wiggins currently averages 12.3 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 1.4 apg, and is shooting 38.9% from the field. If Wiggins continues to produce on the court, he can win Rookie of the Year.  Wiggins also stands 2nd behind Parker on the NBA Rookie Ladder.
