Will the Lakers survive in the playoffs?

It's been a disappointing season for this year's Lakers. As of now, they're a 44-37 win: loss ratio, from last year till now the Lakers are not playing like they were when they had legendary hall of fame coach Phil Jackson. This year the Lakers have acquired 3-time Defensive Player of the Year and 7-time NBA All Star Center Dwight Howard. The Lakers also acquired 8-time NBA All-Star and 2-time NBA MVP Steve Nash. Even though Kobe and the Lakers acquired 2 superstars, the Lakers haven't been playing like they need to be champions. For example, when LeBron James and Chris Bosh chose to take their talents to South Beach, in their first season they lead the Miami Heat all the way to the NBA Finals, but then losing in 6 games to rival Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks. In the Miami Heat's 2nd second season the Heat then started to build chemistry throughout the season. The Miami Heat again reached to the NBA Finals, but this year playing against 3-time NBA Scoring Champion Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Heat finally wins an NBA Title after beating the Thunder in 5 games. So, it took the Miami Heat 2 seasons to build chemistry and win an NBA Championship. Also, the Lakers are in the 8th seed in the Western Conference and they will play against the 1st seed in the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder. Can Kobe, Dwight, and Steve take the Lakers to the NBA Finals and win their 17th World Championship?

Will Kobe Bryant win his 6th ring? Will Steve Nash and Dwight Howard win their 1st ring?
