Ever since Bulls point guard Derrick Rose tore his ACL (Anterior
Cruciate Ligament) in the 1st round of the 2012 NBA playoffs in Game
1 against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Chicago Bulls haven’t been playing like
they were in the 2011-2012 season when they recorded 50-16 due to the NBA’s 2nd
lockout. Although, this year the Bulls have been playing pretty decent without
Derrick Rose with an exceptional 42-35 win: loss ratio. If Derrick Rose doesn’t
come back and play in the first round against the 4th seed the
Brooklyn Nets, the Bulls have a 50-50 chance of beating the Nets, unless Deron
Williams or Joe Johnson don’t provide the effort the Nets need in the
playoffs. The only way the Bulls can win
the series is that players on the bench such as Jimmy Butler, Taj Gibson, Nate
Robinson, and Nazr Mohammed step up in contributing some effort when the team
needs it the most. If Derrick Rose does come back and play against the Nets,
then the Bulls will move on to the 2nd round. Furthermore, if G
Richard Hamilton recovers from his injury the Bulls are to have a good matchup
with the Deron Williams vs. Derrick Rose and Joe Johnson vs. Richard Hamilton.
As long as nobody gets injured from now until the playoffs start, so the Bulls
can use all of their bench players in situations they may get in. Will Derrick
Rose Return?
Will this ^^^^ happen?
