Resurgence of Hassan Whiteside

Your probably asking yourself "Who is Hassan Whiteside?" I'll tell you who's Hassan Whiteside. Hassan Whiteside is a 7 foot center currently playing for the Miami Heat. Whiteside was drafted by the Sacrameto Kings in 2010, coming out of Marshall University. At Marshall University, Whiteside played one season for the Thundering Herd averging 13.1 ppg, 8.9 rpg, and an astounding 5.4 blocks per game. On July 16 ,2012, Whiteside was waived by the Sacramento Kings. After spending some time with a few teams from the NBA D-League, Whiteside started playing for Amchit Club in Lebanon in 2013 and soon playing for the Sichuan Blue Whales in China and then going back to Lebanon to play for Al Mouttahed Tripoli that same year. In 2014, Whiteside was picked up by the Iowa Energy from the NBA D-League and then picked up by the Miami Heat. On January 4, 2015, Whiteside recorded his first double double with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 blocks in a win vs. the Brooklyn Nets. Exactly 21 days later, Whiteside recorded his first career triple double with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and an amazing 12 blocks in a win versus the Chicago Bulls. Whiteside currently averages 9.1 ppg, 7.7 rpg, and 2.4 bpg. With Whiteside playing at an all-star level, can he be the missing piece the Heat were looking for or is Hassanity just a fad that will be over before playoffs?
How long will "Hassanity" last?
