Rivers Family Reunion

As of today, the Los Angeles Clippers have acquired Celtics G Austin Rivers, son of Head Coach Doc Rivers, in a three-team with the Suns and the Celtics. In trade for Rivers, the Clippers sent forward Chris-Douglas Roberts and 2017 second round draft pick to the Celtics and forward Reggie Bullock to Phoenix. In the trade, the Celtics got for forward Shavlik Randolph. Austin Rivers was the 10th selection of the 2012 NBA Draft by New Orleans. In his first 3 seasons as a Hornet/Pelican, Rivers averaged 6.9 ppg, 2.3 apg, and shooting 39% from the field. Rivers will be a decent backup PG behind the best PG in the league, Chris Paul. Rivers stats' will probably have better numbers than he did in New Orleans. Will Rivers become an asset in the Clippers bench? Will Rivers fit in with his father's system?
